Articles do not use Pin credits

One new article uses one article allowance, including up to 15 section images. An eight-item article gets eight corresponding images. Topic suggestions use the separate monthly topic allowance.

Each article includes one follow-up attempt to complete its images. Failed or interrupted follow-up attempts count toward this limit because the image provider may have processed them; contact support if completion fails. Repeated full-article generation uses another article allowance. Higher-cost models and unlimited regenerations are not included.

What uses one Pin credit?

One successfully generated template Pin costs 1 credit, whether it uses one image or a collage of article images. Failed generations do not consume credits.

Previews, text and color edits and downloads use no Pin credits. Scheduling and publishing also use no Pin credits, but require an active paid plan or approved internal access and working Pinterest permissions. Changing the template or source images creates a new design and costs 1 credit.

Renewals and extra credits

Monthly article and topic allowances and included Pin credits reset each paid billing period, with no rollover. Monthly Pin credits are used before purchased credits. Purchased credits do not expire and can be used without an active subscription; article generation beyond the free trial requires an active plan.

No automatic top-up or surprise overage. Cancellation stops the next renewal; remaining paid-period access continues until that period ends, unless refunded.

Who can use the trial and paid plans?

Internal accounts receive an operator-assigned generation budget without checkout. New verified accounts receive a one-time free trial: 2 illustrated articles, 2 topic batches and 5 Pin credits. No credit card required. Signing in again or using another login method with the same email does not grant another trial. Trial allowances do not expire or reset monthly; your saved content remains available after they are used up. Sandbox purchases never unlock live AI generation. New public subscriptions are temporarily paused. Existing subscriptions and renewals continue unchanged.

Is direct Pinterest publishing available?

Standard app access is approved, but a connected personal account currently receives an authorization denial when reading boards. Direct publishing and scheduled delivery are not verified for that account. The free trial covers creation and export; API publishing requires an active plan or approved internal access as well as Pinterest permission. Do not buy a plan solely to resolve this limitation. Will this guarantee traffic?

No. Topic ideas and content tools support your editorial work; they do not guarantee search demand, ranking, impressions or clicks. Review the content and measure results in your own accounts.
